Quincy Tennis Club - The hidden jewel south of Boston!
 
The brick-red clay courts and quiet neighborhood setting of the Quincy Tennis Club make it one of the finest tennis clubs around. It is also one of the oldest clubs in the country, dating back to 1887. The Club is located on land once owned by John and Abigail Adams.

QTC's Season Opening Cookout 12-2p (rescheduled from 6/3/23)
We plan to have a Pig Roast to start the season along with some traditional cookout fare and soft drinks, that will be provided by the club. You may BYO: Beer, Wine, favorite adult beverage.

Amy Bisconte is our Cookout Coordinator. She is looking for volunteers to contribute their favorite cookout dishes, setup, monitor and clean up. She has placed a ‘food signup sheet’ in the bulletin board on the clubhouse porch for those wishing to contribute appetizers, salads, desserts, etc. Amy’s contact info is: Cell: 617-230-4210, e-Mail: amybisconte@gmail.com

Opening Cookout Schedule:

• New member orientation at 12pm (for half an hour) - learn some of the protocol and secrets of QTC –combination to the clubhouse, use of chalkboard, clocks, sweeping courts etc. We will answer all your questions.
• Madonna Murphy and Ann Foresman will be the “Greeters & Matchmakers” so seek them out and they will make sure that new members get to play and meet current members!

• Cookout from 12:30pm to 2:00pm.
• Social play on all five courts from 12:30pm till whenever.
• New members’ names are posted on the bulletin board. We hope they will come, mingle, eat, and play.
• Spouses and friends of all members, new and old, are welcome to attend.
