Benefits
Five Outdoor Red-Clay Courts
Five outdoor red-clay courts are meticulously maintained throughout the playing season that usually starts around May 1 each year and runs through the beginning of November.
One Annual Fee for Court Time; No Hourly Fees
Unlike most for-profit tennis clubs, there are no court fees for the use of courts by Club members.
Rules for time of play apply and are designed to assure fair access to the courts, but there is never a charge for the use of the courts by members.
Well Equipped Clubhouse with Showers
The Clubhouse at Quincy Tennis Club features men's and women's restrooms with showers, a terrific benefit not found at many private clubs. There is a large viewing porch for gathering to watch matches or relax after tennis, perhaps using the outdoor grill to cook something for an event. The interior of the clubhouse has a kitchen area with refrigerator and a soda machine as well as a seating area with a beautiful trophy case. The Clubhouse has an AED (Defibrillator) and First Aid kit and many club members are certified in CPR/AED training.
Parties
Each year, the Quincy Tennis Club Social Committee hosts club sponsored events that include an Opening Cookout with New Member round robin, Summer Solstice Cookout, and End-of-Year Party.
Tournaments
The Quincy Tennis Club Tournament Committee runs an Annual Club Tournament that includes prizes for top singles and doubles players each year. In addition, the Club holds a mid-summer Lobster Tournament for those players who have yet to win another tournament.
Guests
Guests can play with members up to four times each year for a nominal daily guest fee.
Community Programs
The Club has an active recycling program that includes collection of deposit bottles and cans that are donated to Quincy School athletics for team benefits.
